Half-off auction-style listing fees at eBay (Monday and Tuesday)
Attention eBay sellers! eBay is having a two-day "sale" on listing fees for auction-style listings. The special discounted prices are good for Monday and Tuesday November 24 and 25, and they are on Pacific time, from 12:01am on Monday (one minute after Sunday is over) to 11:59pm on Tuesday.
Needless to say, this is good if you are planning to list items that you would otherwise not consider listing because you think that there was a good chance they may have not sold. With half-off the listing price, you can either save on listing fees, or perhaps choose higher prices or upgrades, thus having a better chance at a more favorable outcome. Or, if nothing else, pay a lower listing fee :-)

Get $20 gift card at RiteAid by spending over $100 in a month
If you are a regular Rite Aid customer, this is an awesome deal. If you spend over $100 in purchases in a period of over one month, they will send you $20 cashback. This is way cool. So let's start from the beginning...
To qualify, you have to spend $100 or more at Rite Aid stores, between November 16 and December 24, 2008. That's more than a month! Most consumer product purchases qualify, but there are some exceptions. The following items are NOT eligible: gift cards, phone cards, gift certificates, stamps, lottery tix, alcohol and tobacco, prescriptions, Rx co-pays, mailing services, online services, and things like that.
When you make a purchase, you simply go to the Rite Aid website, and enter the numbers from your receipt, just like you do with the Single Check Rebate program. In fact it's running from the same website so if you are already a member, you don't need a new account.
So you enter the numbers from your receipt, and the Rite Aid computes automatically calculate your eligible purchases. After the promotional period is over, all you have to do is request the gift certificate, and it will be delivered to you.
If you are a regular Rite Aid shopper, this is awesome, it's like getting a 20% discount. So with more than five weeks in the promotion, all you need to do is spend about $20 per week. If you get things like sodas, candy, cleaning supplies, beauty supplies and such, it's not hard to pile up $20 each week!
Not to mention any specials they may be having during Black Friday and the Holidays! You have NOTHING to lose by participating!
Shop early, shop often, shop wisely :-)

Virgin Mobile pre-paid cellphones for $7.11 at 711
Having fun with numbers! 711 is now having a new promotion, where they are offering their inventory of Virgin Mobile pre-paid cellular phones for exactly $7.11, plus sales tax where applicable. This is a great price!
A great use for Virgin Mobile pre-paid phones is if you want to get rid of your land-line but don't want to lose your phone number. So what you do is get a $7.11 cellphone, transfer the number to Virgin Mobile, and sign-up for the auto-topup plan that costs $15 every 3 months. So you end up paying $5 per month instead of over $20 per month with your local telephone operator. Plus you get the extra bonus of voice-mail, free long-distance and things like that.
But obviously this is only a good deal if you don't plan on using the phone too much. In other words, if you plan on spending $5 per month, which is about 30 minutes (depending on which plan you chose), then it's good!
In other words, this would be something like protecting your domain name, eg keeping your old landline number in case there are some people who still don't have your new(er) number.
