There is a total of twenty customer-reviews of this unit, and the overall rating is four out of five stars, which is not bad considering the price.

Lots of new free MP3 samples at Amazon
Tuesday is new music day in the music world, so with that in mind, Amazon is typically refreshing their new music samples every Tuesday as well. Look for all the new free music samples at the right side of the screen at the mp3 deals page.
And by samples I do not mean short 30-second song samples, but FREE full-song samples you can download in mp3. These are provided by record labels and such in order to promote and raise awareness for some of their artists and music.
Typically you get individual songs and record-label-samples. Also, every day, one mp3-album is offered at a significant discount, with the price ranging from $2 to $5! So be sure to check it out every day!

Free after rebates at Walgreens, Rite Aid and Longs/CVS!
We have a trifecta this week at three of the major drugstore chains! A trifecta of free after rebate promotions are live at three of the major drugstore chains!
We start at Walgreens, where you can get a 5.6oz to 6oz Aquafresh Advanced Toothpaste, free after a RegisterReward of $3. This is great because you receive the RegisterRewards coupon right after you pay, and you can turn around and use it on your next purchase. Nothing to mail and no waiting at all!
Next we move to Rite Aid, where they have online or traditional mail-in rebates. For free, you can get the Skin Clinic Advanced Wart Remover Kit for free after a $15 Single-Check-Rebate. This is part of their monthly catalog, and you can submit the rebate online. Nothing to mail, no UPC codes to hunt.
But that's not all at Rite Aid, you can also get a free Crest ProHealth Enamel Shield toothpaste after a $2.69 rebate. This is the 4.2 ounce version. Both rebates are one per person per rebate catalog.
And we close with CVS, which now includes Longs Drugs! They no longer do rebates, but instead, have the "Extra Bucks" rewards program where you receive coupons you can use on your next purchase. Again, the good news is that you don't have to submit anything, you receive the coupons right when you checkout and you can turn around and use them on your next purchase.
The freebie at CVS are SoyJoy nutrition bars. There is a limit of five free SoyJoy bars per card. Each one costs $1. After you pay for them, the checkout register will print a coupon for you. So if you buy four, you will get a coupon for $4 off any order of $4 or more. Not bad at all! This is not cash, so you have to use it at CVS and use it within a few weeks before it expires.
That's all for this week, and as you can see, there are some nice goodies. To summarize:
+ five SoyJoy nutrition bars
+ ProHealth toothpaste
+ Aquafresh Advanced toothpaste
+ Wart remover kit

How to use your prepaid Visa cards without hassle
More and more retailers are offering their mail-in rebates via a pre-paid Visa card instead of an old fashioned check. This gets a number of consumers confused as to how much they spent on the card, how much remains, and things like that.
To minimize the hassle involved, here are some suggestions on how to spend your pre-paid gift cards:
* use them to reload your reusable cards for the exact amount (Kinkos, laundry, coffee cards, etc) for the exact amount. Problem solved!
* use them to buy services (iTunes, prepaid phone service, etc)
* use the whole amount of the gift card to pay part of a pending bill (cable, DSL, telephone, etc)
* If you use a credit card rewards program, make sure you don't use these cards on things that would otherwise get you a reward of more than 1%. You don't want to lose the extra percentage points!
* If your credit card offers special benefits on purchases (price assurance, extra warranty, etc), and you want these on a particular purchase, then be sure not to use the prepaid gift card as part of the promotion.

5c insertion fees on eBay from June 2 to 15 (select categories only)
If you are an eBay seller, or want to give eBay a try, be sure to check out their new 5c insertion fees promotion running from June 2 to June 15, 2009!
This applies to select product categories, which however, include popular items such as many consumer electronics and select sporting gear (eg golf clubs). This applies to fixed price items only.
They also have more requirements and prerequisites, in typical eBay ball-busting bureaucracy.
Apparently they haven't fired enough of the idiots who ruined eBay by making stupid decisions one after the other and created insanely convoluted situations while allowing thieves and scammers to get away with cheating honest eBay sellers and buyers!
eBay, you need change we can believe in! Not rearranging the deck-chairs-change!

Free chocolate bar coupons every Friday?
Mars, the conglamorate behind a lot of the favorite chocolate and candy bars, is running a new promotion where each Friday, from 9am to 11:59am eastern time, they are giving away coupons for free chocolate bars. However, the coupons are delivered by mail, you do not print them, and they estimate a six-week delivery. So this is not for the impatient or the "instant gratification" crowd.
But all you have to do is fill up the form, and the coupon will eventually find out at home! And better yet, this appears to be a weekly promotion, and you can enter (as far as I can tell) for up to four free coupons. But you can only enter for one coupon per week. So turn this into a weekly Friday morning adventure. The start of your weekend is marked by a promise of a free chocolate bar six weeks from now :-)
For more, check the promotional website at realchocolate.com.

Free KFC grilled chicken meal with coupon
Yes, a free KFC grilled chicken coupon has gone live at the UnthinkKFC.com website. However, right now, their server is hammered, trying to print the coupon fails. You can still visit the aforementioned website, but when you click on "Print Coupon Now", you get an error.
It apparently tries to print from bricks.coupons.com, which is currently the point of slowness.
The good news is that you have until 10pm central on Wednesday night to print your coupon, so if the server is slow when you try, try again later, probably when there is a popular show on TV or when most people are sleeping :-)

Free after rebate at Staples this week!
Don't miss out! If you like free-after-rebate stuff, don't miss out! Run to Staples on Sunday morning, as soon as they open, because some of the freebies may run out. They are that good! The specials are good for the whole week, but some items may ran out, so it's safer to go right away.
And before we get to the products, we also like to point out that Staples rebates are really cool. You don't have to mail anything in with their EasyRebates program. You simply go to their website, enter the information from your receipts, and submit the rebate. Then after a few weeks the check shows up at your door. They are using the computers to do the validation and such. But it's always safe to keep all the receipts and such until you receive and cash the check :-) It doesn't hurt to play it safe!
So on to the goodies...
Free after rebate this week!
We start with something very yummy! Yes, yummy and Staples in the same sentence! You can get a Ghirardelli Luxe chocolate bag for FREE after a $4 EasyRebate. Limit one rebate per household. Flavors will vary by store and by in-stock availability. And if you are worried about the calories. opt for the dark-chocolate, that way you are eating it as an anti-oxidant nutritional supplement instead :-)
Next up, if you are the fussy organizer, then you can never have too many label makers. Especially if they are free after a $20 Easy Rebate. And what's even nicer, there is a limit of TWO per household. This is the Casio KL-60L label maker.
Dollar Deals
Apart from the FAR items above, they also have another $6.29 Easy Rebate that gets you a 500-sheet ream of HP multipurpose paper for just $1 after rebate. There is a limit of TWO per household. And the multipurpose is a good thing, you can feed it to the printer, the fax machine, the copier, or use it write things. I'm sure the kids would love to crayon them too :)
Also a nice deal, and without rebates, is a 12-pack of square Staples-branded stickies. These little buggers are usually expensive at list price, so whenever you find them on sale (if you can't "find them" at work *OH MY!*), it's a good idea to stock up!

$15 off Nature Valley at Amazon (with $39+ order)
If you love discounts and Nature Valley products, then celebrate my friends because Amazon.com is offering a $15 discount on the purchase of $39 or more worth of yummy Nature Valley products. To get the discount, simply use promotion code NATURVLY during the checkout process.
Please note that this promotion is only good for products that are sold & shipped by Amazon itself, not any of the marketplace and other vendors that do business there as well.
The best deal appears to be the 12-pack of 12-packs they have there. That means 144 bars for $39 minus the $15 coupon = $24. So for $24 you are getting 144 natural yummy bars. That comes out to 17 cents per bar. Not bad at all, especially if you eat them on a regular basis, or if you are trying to convince your kids/husbands to replace chocolate and other unhealthy snacks with something healthier like these ones.
Enjoy :-)

We already mentioned the free medium beverage at Peets Coffee shops with purchase of environmentally-friendly products.
But there's more! Walgreens is giving away free green bags with purchase! These are reusable totes, bright green but actually they are quite nice. We will have more updates as we discover more exciting Earth Day specials!

Tuesday only: 15c auction-style listings on eBay
If you are selling or thinking of selling stuff on eBay, be sure to take advantage of this one-day promotion on Tuesday April 21st, 2009! eBay.com is offering 15c auction-style insertion fees. This is especially beneficial if you are planning to list items of higher prices, because you would pay higher insertion fees.
For example, an item with a starting price of $500 has a $4 insertion fee. But with this promotion in place, you only pay 15-cents.
So if you have things you want to sell, but don't want to give away at bargain basement prices, you can take advantage of this opportunity and list them at the price you think they deserve to be sold at!

11x14 dry-erase boards on clearance for $2
Staples is having on clearance 11"x14" dry-erase magnetic boards for $2 each! Availability may vary from store to store, but this is an excellent price for such a big dry-erase board, and a magnetic one at that. It also included one dry-erase marker. And if you want to load up on markers, they also have a 2-for-1 four-packs of BIC pen-sized dry-erase markers. Not bad eh?
This is a Quartet Basics brand name, with model number MHOS1114. Don't sleep on these, they will probably sell out before the end of the week!
But that's not all at Staples, there is also a free after EasyRebate promotion! You can get two Staples Delta Elite pens for FREE after a $3 Easy Rebate. The rebate is submitted online, so you don't have to worry about making photocopies or using a stamp or having to make an extra trip to the post office. You simply enter the receipt data on the Staples rebates site and you receive your check in the mail after a few weeks.
Please note that for the Delta Elite promotion, there is a limit of one rebate per customer!
They also have a number fo $1 items, their "Dollar Days". For these, there is a limit of two items per person per visit, and it is a while supplies last, so don't count on rainchecks. These include a ream of 500 sheets of Hammermill CopyPlus copy paper.
And one more thing at Staples, the $3 ink recycle promotion is coming back. Check with the store or website to see whether your ink will be accepted. In this instance of the ink recycle promotion, you get a $3 Staples Reward, which will be credited to your Staples reward account and sent as a Staples gift check at the end of every quarter. There is a limit of 10 cartridges per customer per month however.
And one more thing before we go, you can get a $50 Easy Rebate when you recycle any old printer and buy a new one. However, the new printer you buy must have a regular price of $180 or higher. They are not giving money away :)

They are like a rebate, but instead of you having to mail-in the rebate, and wait for the check to arrive, the register reward coupon prints at the checkout register when you pay for the item. So you can use your rebate at any time. You can even take your items to the car, and walk back in. These rebates are usually good for about 2 weeks from printing, so don't forget to use them before they expire.
Having said all that, these are GREAT if you buy stuff at Walgreens regularly.
This week's Register Rewards specials
+ Colgate 6oz MaxWhite or MaxFresh toothpaste, gives you a $3.50 Register Reward, even though the price you pay is $3.29. Nice!!!
+ Blink Gel Tears (moderate+) or Blink Tears (mild) gives you an $8 Register Reward
+ the Register Rewards are usually good for two weeks after printing. Check the expiration date on yours and make sure you use it!
We hope you find this useful and if so, please tell your friends about it!

50% off auction-style listings in January (eBay)
As the new eBay bosses are making things worse and royally pissing off some long-time eBay sellers, it seems that they think that a month-long listing fees discount for selecting listings may sweeten the sour mood just slightly.
The promotion offers 50% auction-style listings for one-day and three-day listings. This is not unconditional as they do have some restrictions. Check your eBay messages or the Seller Central website for more details.
And be sure to tell eBay that you are unhappy with the way they have SCREWED UP eBay the last few years. And that includes YOU new executives!
Why do I say that? Look at the fees, look at the user interface for a seller, look at the convoluted category fees, it's a major pain to list stuff on eBay, and if they sell, eBay takes a BIG chunk of your money. Especially when you have alternatives like Craigslist.
eBay executives,
WAKE UP
