J&R World is offering an Apple Macbook on special for $1100 and free shipping. This Macbook uses Mac OS 10.5 Leopard, has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 2 gigahertz, 1 gigabyte of ddr2 memory, stores data on an 80gb hard disk drive.
It also has a 13.3" widescreen, making it portable enough to carry almost everywhere you go, has a combo drive (sadly cannot burn DVDs, but can burn CDs and play DVDs), built-in webcam, built-in Airport Extreme which does the alphabet soup (A, B, G, N), has USB, Firewire and LAN ports, and built-in Bluetooth.
The biggest knock on this in our opinion is that it cannot burn DVDs. If that's not an issue, then we have no objections :)
