This week at Dell

  • The Dell Inspiron 1521 notebook lineup with the eight different vibrant loud and obnoxious colors continues to dominate their weekly circular ad. Prices start at $769, or as low as $24/mo if you select their financing offers
  • If you prefer a 17" LCD on your notebook, the prices start at $900
  • If you prefer a more budget notebook, the Inspiron 1501 line-up starts at $550, but it's only available in shiny silver (they call it Arctic silver)
  • colorful accessories also on sale, such as the Logitech V200 cordless optical mouse at $30, case Logic reversible laptop shuttle $20, or Belkin chocolate and tourmaline sling backpack $55
  • On the desktop front, the Inspiron 530 starts at $550 with 1gb meory, Pentium Dual Core E2160, Vista Home Premium and a 19" widescreen flat-panel monitor
  • Athlon desktops start at $500.
  • A Dell 22" widescreen flat panel LCD monitor is advertised for $310
  • If having a really thin notebook is your #1 priority, you have to pay a price premium with the XPS M1330 notebook, 13.3" LED (not LCD) widescreen with built-in webcam, starting at $1450
  • The spotlight value desktop system for $500 is the Inspiron 531s, with free shipping and handling, free upgrades, and free 1yr dell online backup service with 3gb of strage.
