Fresh from the Friday paper ad, in ascending price order, we have the following shiny laptops begging for your hard earned dollars ;-) MIR stands for mail-in rebate, AR stands for after rebate. 64X2DC is shortcut for Athlon or Turion 64 X2 dual-core mobile technology. A lot faster to type and to read :) All the laptops are limit one per customer and some may be in limited quantities.

Free software after rebates (Fry's Labor Day Weekend)

Lots and lots of software packages are free after rebate this weekend at Fry's but only buy them if you are committed to actually submiting and tracking the rebates. Otherwise you'd be wasting your time (and money) :) This is my rebate tip of the day! So now to the software titles. The price mentioned is the price you pay in-store, before you submit the rebates. The envelope says "Important Information About Your Plan Enclosed Open Immediately!. And the content of the letter has nothing to do with the health plan. It is instead a political lobbying attempt to steer health care reform to the best interests of this company. This is very wrong. Everyone who received such a letter should call Blue Cross and ask a credit to their accounts (you pick the amount!) for waisting their time with this misleading mailing.
